Wheel adapter question

Just a wonder... I tried researching if there are any wheel adapters that will allow me to mount a 5x114.3 wheel on a 5x130 hub.

I don't track the car and I know is best to get the right fitment. I haven't even consider offsets yet which will matter but, is this conversion even possible?

Absolutely it is. A Porsche is no different than any other car. Call up Motorsports Tech

http://www.motorsport-tech.com/

You will want to make sure you get double hub-centric adapters for the wheel and the hub. Should cost around $350 for all 4

I dont know the offsets of Porsches real well so you will want to do some research on that to make sure you get it correct

Ask for Junior.

Or, 5x114.3 is close enough to 5x130 you can probably just drill and insert the wheel holes. It is something BMW people do pretty often from 5x120 to 5x114.3 but those are closer than 5x130.

Look online to see what it looks like. You cant tell at all, it isnt a re-drill where you fill the old holes and drill new ones. You more or less widen the existing ones and then place a metal insert in the wider holes to center the wheel to mount on those instead of the old ones.
