6psi set up. Higher boost?

have you thought of a water\meth kit? Your intake temps will drop drastically. The denser mixture and octane level of the meth will allow your ecu to extract the maximum amount of power it can with the boost level you run

Taywan great question. I am eagerly awaiting the answer as I am about to pull the trigger on a VF kit and was wondering what these 996s can hold. How do you like it overall?

It pulls pretty good.

yes, looked into that, it does get extremely HOT after running it around the speedway. prob need that, but want to up boost but idk what the stock internals would hold before i do that.

I recently added IMA Twin turbo kit, which takes air from behind rear tire. Even if with this intake method, air temperature is got hot with 5.5psi. Much more may be supercharger which takes air from engine room...

yes, it does need cooler air for sure...we ran sat around a 3/8 mile oval track But no issues.
