MK1 - MK2 front end swap

Hey guys,

Has anyone updated their early 996 to the MK2 style front end? What all is involved with this? I was hoping that a bumper and complete light housings is all i will need.

Any details on this?

I know people have done it. I believe it's more involved than just the bumper cover and lights. I believe the fenders have to be replaced too. Hopefully somebody who has done the conversion can confirm this.

you'll need front bumper, front LR fenders, LR fenderliner, headlamps, headlamp housing trays, headlamp connectors (some people just modify existing), and a bunch of nuts/bolts.

Look for the fenders. They should have the headlamp housing trays built in, most people do not remove them when selling the fenders. NineEleven did it recently (I sold him the fenders). It is easy.
