Changing Color of Floor Mats?

I have an Arctic Silver C-2 with Black leather/carpet interior.
I need to replace the old black OEM mats, but have been toying with the idea of using dark grey mats instead of the usual black.
Anyone ever done this or maybe have photos to show?
The black mats show every little spec of dirt and are a pain to keep clean.

i did the reverse a while back on my X5. i had dark grey interior, and chose to use OEM black mets since many of the dash parts are black. it turned out great, most people thought it came that way for the sportier look. i don't have any pics since car was sold a while back. but i think it will look good.Originally posted by gfroman
