Secondary Oxygen Sensors-Cat Bypass

So I took off my cats today to make my own cat bypass setup. Can I simply unplug the O2 Wiring Harness? I am having the car chipped in a few weeks and will have the secondary O2 Sensors turned off. Could any damage be caused by having them unplugged for a few hundred miles?

You'll get a check engine light saying that the cat converter is bad. I'm not sure if the DME will change the adaption values based upon this. Other than that the car should run OK.

You should be fine... When I went stage 3 on my 2.7 audi a year ago I let my o2's dangle around for like 3 months and car ran just fine!

Thanks guys! That is what I figured. I have owned tons of modified VW's and Audi's. All had CEL's due to modifications. It was just nice to have a car without one.
