Thanks for the photo's, the body shop is in the process of trying to locate a euro look bumper. I will post pics once it is installed.

Since I have the car at the body shop, I am considering painting the brakes. Red, Yellow or Electric Blue - any thoughts???
Yellow!
Luis

i'd paint it yellow or red. blue looks a little ricey for my taste. you may get flames from people if you paint it yellow bc of the PCCB look.

Where did you purchase the bumper from originally? Do you still have the bumper for sale? Please e-mail me

Robert.........that's a bummer......sorry to see it.
Only thoughts I have are:
Make sure insurance takes into account more than just the bumper.......whenever you have that poly-u pushed in that far, good chance it's affected whatv lies beneath.....been there.

Second.......if you are not nuts about 'bumperettes' (they did you no good in this case ).......consider going euro-look with no bumperettes on the replacement........I'm sure you've seen that before but here's a pic.....yep it's a TT, but I've done it on 986 & 996.
Good luck on whatever ya do.......I think you are on the right track trying to re-build better than it was........that's always been my tact.

I thought about taking my bumperettes off...... glad I didn't, I've been tapped twice by cars behind me (latest yesterday), zero damage, keep the bumperettes if you drive your car daily.
