Coming ack to the Club - excited but still 5 months to go
So after selling my yellow c2 last year and now driving the boxster for a year I am coming back to the 996 club. Decision is based on budget and convenience. We still keep the boxster and my son gets to drive it - he just got his permit last week.
A close friend of mine (also my wife's cousin) bought the 02 C4s in Arctic Silver. His car was probably one of the first C4s in socal. This is his 3rd car so in 3 years he put 7200 miles on the car. Last month his motor died and BH porsche replaced the motor under warranty. He is moving out of the country in November and I have agreed to purchase the car with taking delivery in November. We have agreed on a 58k price and he probably will drive it another 1000 miles in the next 5 months. He actually paid a broker to find this car for him. AS/Black - Full Leather - Bose. Debris hit his front bumper (half inch deep cut in the front bumper) which he never repaired. I am excited AS Boxster and I get the AS C4S.
A bit of a long wait but I know this car well. This has been his garage queen.
So the socal boys will still see me in my box and Roy I did finally like the 997 and Ron the turbo had my heart but this way I can keep the box for my son and I get the C4S and I get to keep my workhorse discovery.
