1st weekend with my new topless mistress

Un-be-liev-a-ble!
The car is even more incredible than I had imagined. The power, the gear box, the refinement of the drive, all blew me away. Every other "powerful" car I had driven over the years felt brutish in comparison. This car is so smooth.
The car is way better of a machine than I am a driver. No scary moments or any such thing, but I want to get the most out of this beauty. Time to take a few classes in how to handle her.
Beyond how awesome she is to drive, I was also not prepared for the number of people that came over to admire the car, and to take pictures.
Thank you for the welcome everyone. It is a true privilege to enter this social circle.
Oh, my cheeks hurt today. I guess I will need to go out again today to exercise those face muscles a bit more.

Just do me a favor -- unless it's 1) raining/snowing, 2) freezing or 3) roasting hot, please keep the top down (note that for #2 and #3, you can use the Heater/AC and still put the top down). I love convertibles and it annoys me to no end when people drive around on the nicest days with the top up -- such a waste....

Aerodude: favor granted! She will have her top down as the starting position. I feel as you do, having a convertible is about being open as much as possible. Oh, and yes to your earlier question about the wing, it has been upgraded. The PO did a fantastic job with the body of the car and maintaining the mechanical aspects. Now its my turn to finish her off by upgrading the electronics; I'm an electronic gizmo nut. That will begin tomorrow.
rrrruben: this car was bought as a weekend ride, but it is easy to imagine it going out far more often than that! My only concern is that the driving is so much fun that I will conveniently find longer and longer routes to my destination. I guess that isn't such a bad thing!

Congrats on your new baby!! I also have a Cab ... nothing like having the top down on a beautiful day ... although, I did invest in the hardtop and I am loving it as well ... sometimes I like to be in privacy ... its funny, some days driving with the top down I feel people giving me those jealous looks sitting at the stoplights LOL .... also the hardtop totally changes the look of the car ... and I even feel the car handles a bit better in the turns with it ... don't know the reason, but there is a difference.... I got my hardtop from a guy in upstate NY who has a body shop and he had about 10 tops ... he goes around and buys them from porsche dealers and sells them, he had to repaint one for me because he didn't have the seal grey in stock ... it came out beautiful ... But lots of blessings with your car and Iam sure kickin it down will rise that Kundalini up through all your chakras and out your crown
