Who makes this spoiler?
Does it matter who makes it?
But hopefully they´ll stop soon!
It probably doesn´t provide any down- or up-force anyway, in the "dirty" and turbulent air around the tail of an open-top car.
Wings are of questionable value below 200 kph in most cases. On convertibles they´re just silly.
Didn´t mean to come across as grumpy, but thats how I see it. :-)

That seems kind of funny, because supposedly the wing on the new 997 cabrio extends another 0.8" higher than that of the coupe because of the aerodynamics, and those spoilers come up at 75 mph. Either way, though, it is hideous!

How do you think they attached it from the back if its home made? Just frille a hole and put a washer and a regular nut bolt? I wonder it it will stay on at high speeds. Who is selling this car Naples Motorsports?

Sticking the spoiler higher up would be to compensate somewhat for the added turbulence on the cabrio. The higher up, the cleaner the airflow. But with the top up, the aerodynamics of the 997 is said to be cloe to that of the coupe.
