clutch hydraulic issue???

Here goes... befoer i freak out, i think i might just need a master.

Last night, i attempted to start my car and i was alarmed with a "bump start" as the clutch was partially engaged. the car stalled and i could only start the car when in nuetral. Once the car was started, i couldn't get it into any gear. I turned the car off ant tried starting the car in gear with the same "bump" result.

I tried this several times and on the 4th time, i was able to use the clutch pedal and drive the car. I only have about 6k on the clutch and have replaced the slave under the car. Im not excited about this one, but think that it is surely a hydraulic issue.

Any others experienced this one???

Thank you guys....

Not on my Porsche. But I had a similar issue on another car - clutch release bearing had failed. Except when my release bearing failed, it failed for good, and I was done until I had it fixed.

Have someone press the clutch while you inspect from under and see if the slave moves or not. Also check for any leaks. It might be possible to do this with inspection mirror to make it easier.

How recent did you replace the slave and was it OEM part?
