I wanted to start a thread of everyone's upgraded stereo systems. List your Head-Unit, Amplifier, Speakers...ect.

3) (3) JL Audio 8" Subwoofers in custom box.
4) 4" JL Audio Evolution speakers in dash
5) 6.5" JL Audio Evolution speakers in door

stephan really nice setup you have, although I dont see why you would put JL audio subs in your Porsche? I am a firm believer in to each their own and I am not putting you or your car down, but why not just buy the custom Bose box they make for the car? I have it in mine and it sounds really good. Not as much bass as my two twelves in my BMW, but I don't want to be driving down the road in a Porsche with my system bumping. I have the same exact head unit as you with an alpine amp (I don't remember the model, but its the newest one out) and with the Bose subs hooked up to it the sound is so crisp and clean.

 

Every sub have different specs and require different slice of enclosure.
If you have good subwoofer and wrong enclosure it will sound like sh....
