Washable Oil filter?

Does anyone has info on this product? Its a LN engineering washable oil filter.

http://www.lnengineering.com/billetoilfilter.html

Im not sure how well it works and also, how does one wash this thing? Is it worth buying with their spin on filter adapter?

As I understand it this is for people who want to track their cars as the oil should be changed after every track outing. I put the adapter on and will use the NAPA Gold filter and change the oil around 3k or six months which ever comes first.

In addition to the info posted on the website, I can add that the workmanship & integrety of this company (LNeng.) & it's owner are 1st rate. This is not new technology, just a new part designed for our engines. I have the spin-on adapter with Wix filters & a Filter-Mag. I will probably get the billet aluminum filter just hesitating because my Filter-Mag won't stick to aluminum.
