Navigation update carrera 1998

Hi, I've a 996 carrera from 1998 and I would like to update my navigation system, is that possible? It has never been done before so I would like to know witch is the newest map update for the 996?

Welcome. I don't want to dash your first post but - not really. Do a search and you will find several discussions on this over the years. Mine is original and works perfectly.

Surprised to hear that nav systems were available in 1998. I had a full Pioneer system installed in my 2003.
