crisper shifting at 4K + RPMs?

crisper shifting at 4K + RPMs?
Have you guys noticed that shifting seems crisper when above 4K rpm? Im not talking about the shifter so much as I am talking about the clutch catching & having a nice clean pull.

I always keep my cruising RPMS at 3k+ unless I'm in 6th gear.

Delirium, I totally know what you are saying. When I first got my 996, I was trying to find good shift points for each gear, (I usually drive between 2-4k RPM's when cruising around) and gears 1-3 are all smoother shifts >4k. As such, I usually shift around 4.5k RPM's in normal driving conditions.

I'll cruise around 3k and shift between 4k & 5500k unless I'm playing, then 6500k...
