Stone Guards Anyone?

Does anyone have stone guards on their car, specifically the ones that go on the front of the rear wheel well? I know alot of older models came with them, I found some online that are magnetic and come in carbon fiber, gloss or matt. Any thoughts?

If you feel you need this, have the 3M clear plastic film professionally installed. It should run in the range of $100-$150. I personally don't see why you want a large black piece of plastic on your car when you can get the same protection in an invisible fashion.

I was thinking it was a little retro, there was a pic of a new 991 with the Carbon Fiber guards and it did look kinda cool.
