Re-upholster your interior vinyl or leather
Has anyone done any reupholstery to their interior? My rear side panel that houses the rear speaker is ripped and I am considinering recovering it with stock vinyl.
1. Is it possible to remove the old vinyl since it's glued to a foam and plastic panel?
2. Would a recover job last or will leather bubble?
3. Does black vinyl color and grain vary by year? I want orginal vinyl so there is no mismatch. Any other source of OEM vinyl besides veteranco.com?
This is something I'd also like to try in the future. Any experience with longevity of recover interior is appreciated!

I had some custom work done at Custom Works in Bakersfield. I removed the rear seats and they covered the seat belt holes and molded a bottom where the seats were to give it a Gt2 look. Very pleased with there work, though not cheap. If you want the best and you want it done right the first time ask for Jerry, tell him Robbie with the red Porsche recommended him. The leather and carpet matches perfectly. Good luck.
