Fabspeed and Warranty

I was thinking about getting the Fabspeed Cold Air Airbox Upgrade/Enhancement Kit, but wanted to know if using that voided the car's warranty?

boca996 is infamous around these parts
Kirby,
I had the airbox mod installed about 6 months ago at Foreign Affairs down here. They work very closely with the local dealer on everything and said the warranty would not be an issue. I really think it boils down to the individual dealership. If they are looking for a reason not do fix something under warranty, they could (and most likely would) point to the airbox mod. However if they truely believe in customer service, they will do the warranty work.

Before you do the installation, I would however, curtail your expectations. First, I love the sound change the mod does. You could probably get the same sound change by removing the screens and changing to a BMC filter, but I went with the full mod. Second, any change in HP and/or throttle response is most likely from the adreneline kick.

In any event, I like the mod regardless of any actual or implied gains in HP.
