Upgrade to 996TT?

Hey Everyone,
I'm thinking of moving from a 2002 C2Cab to an older (2001? 2002?) 996TT. Before I seriously consider it, though, I'd like to get some feedback about any serious issues with these cars. I know that the RMS issue does not apply to the 996TT/GT3/GT2, but are there any specific things I should look out for? Any input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Steve

the TT is rock soild. so far to date there's no major issue that i know of. get a later year from 02 up if possible as few updates were done since late 01. let me know if u're looking for specific color cuz i know some good condition TT we've worked on for sale.

I was just talking about that the other day..... I was thinking that it's time to go..... TT.... I too am torn since I really like the way my car has turned out so far.... I spent the better part of 8 months getting everything taken care of and to move on well it's going to take some more thinking......

the only problem with the TT is associate with the Federalies not understanding we are exempt from traffic laws.

The car is bullet proof

Thanks for your opinions, guys. I guess it's reasonable that the engine that won Le Mans (in GT1 form) should be bullet-proof.

Arling--I don't suppose that you know of any cars for sale on the East Coast, do you?

I'm pretty certain that I'm going to take the 996 TT plunge, but I'm going to try and hold out another year or so.....
