i was ready to give up on the rattles on my 2 months old C4S and put it on e-bay. but i decided to take back to the dealer i purchased the car from and give it another try.

the service advisor was awesome, he called me the next morning, told me they isolated the dash rattle which is due to a broken clip. they also found some rattles by the seat belt pillar. he told me that he would order all new parts and replace them including all the clips for the door.

well, i finally got the back after 1 week (due to 4th of july long weekend), and i can't hear any of the old rattles. i even purposely took it on a rough road, and heard nothing.

i can finally enjoy this car after listening and trying to isolate rattle for 2 months, while my wife thinks i am crazy.

big thumbs up to jeseph at pacific porsche in torrance, looking at the receipt, they replaced a lot of parts, and really did a lot of work (unlike some other dealer i won't name).

but as arling said, i will sure find another one. in fact, as i was pulling the garage, i think i heard...

by the way, try to visit arling on my way home. i bet lucent doesn't have a big sign because i couldn't find it after going up and down sepeulvada few times (btw olympic and pico)...

will try again, arling. you can hide but i will find it!
