Thanks guys!!!

You know I've been tossing around the idea of those CF mirrors...perhaps I can get my hands on a pair and try them out and take some pics to see if they do indeed look good.

I'm sure the CF mirrors would look great. It would complement the wing and give the car a little more contrast. go for it!

Yep the front....right Marc? I have 225 up front and they are simply too small for the wheel. I should have gone with 245. They look a bit stretched in person. Unfortunately, I am stuck with them. Interestingly enough, the Conti's I had weren't stretched and fit the wheel perfectly. These Michelins PS2s are much smaller. Although the same size.

Yes Robyn I think it is the front, funny I was talking with Paul S telling him I am having doubts changing my Contis on the M3 to the PS2's the Contis have never been a fav of mine however they are running really well on the M3, on my last 996 I took of the S Contact 2"s within a week...we shall see...

I wasn't really happy with the Contis due to how uncomfortably loud they are. They wear just about the same as the rest (10k-12k out of the rears). I am not a fan of these tires. I much preferred the Yokos that I used to have on my old Boxster. But, I'm just miffed that the same sized tire will differ very drastically from manufacturer to manufacturer. Had I known this would have been the issue, I would have gotten the 245s. So far, I am pleased with the PS2's but need to get them on the track to be sure. Tires are so personal it seems.

Yes they are, to me the Pilots are very noisy, now my Contis are special Conti M3's and are made for the car so they are not like the Sport Contact 2's. I loved my Dunlops that I had on my 2000, 996 ...funny I never managed more then 8k out of rears on either 996...with the M3 who knows..we shall see...PS your car is a real work of art I love it...the CF mirrors would be killer...
