No, it is a 997, BUT they are basically identical, I checked it against the manual I got with my 2003 C4S and it checked out.
Yes, the engine specs may be different but the how to work things all check out.

Thanks for the clarification, now I just have to find a mk1 version so I can find out how to work the cup holders.
