my996 is infamous around these parts
Tips Install problem
I have purchased a pair of Fabspeed tips. I have tried to remove the band clamp that holds the old tips in place. The nut holding the clamp together is compleltly off and I have sprayed WD-40 onto the rusted clamp. It still will not loosen. Any ideas???

The round bushing has a split in it, try and hammer a screwdriver tip to spread it out, worked for me.
