Does anyone in the group know the actual material that the 996 dash is made from? Is it vinyl over foam like the old days?

I'm aware of various treatments that can be used to reduce glass/glare, but I need to know what I am working with...

 

Yes, vinyl over foam. I replaced it on mine with Alcantara over foam last spring.
