I am no expert in paint or body work, but...

Get it painted somewhere else... $916.07 seems like a very high price for such a small task. By saying small task, I don't mean that you could do it yourself... It does indeed need a professional paint job, but that price is very high... It would cost that much to repair and paint a damaged wing.

Just my 2 cents.

You're getting raped if you're paying $900+. 6 hours to prep-up the body and over 8 hours to paint? Take it to Phil Thearle in Santee. I had my 993 wing painted and installed for around $500.

Thanks for the info guys. I am going to call some of the places mentioned tomorrow and see what they say. I will probably stop by AJ-USA tomorrow also. I post some prices when I get them.

I met with AJ-USA yesterday and I am probably going to end up going with them. They want to see the wing first but said it will most likely be $700-800. I got the feeling that they will handle this much better than the other place I got a quote from. I am going to take it in Monday to get started...

I've been taking my Porsches to AJ for the better part of 12 years (they used to be down on Moreno. They are a first class outfit. Jessie and Brian are great.
