No, I have not done this, however this is one of the set-up's I was considering. But after looking at it I'll go with H&R Coilovers I think so I can have the ability to adjust the height if necessary.
Nothing wrong with your choice, and if you feel you will never need to adjust height go for it, keep in mind though, your car will settle after a while and you total drop will be between 1" to 1.75".

I would consider some H&R Coil Overs or even KW V-1. The H&R coil over shock is custom valved to work in conjunction with a precision-engineered progressive rate spring, creating a finely tuned suspension system. The fully threaded shock body allows for adjustable vehicle height. Lowers the car on average from 1 - 2.5 inches. For more information on the coil overs we offer for the C4s Click Here.

Street use? Koni fsd's. by far. $850

Then use

1. Stock springs - free.
2. Euro springs - 10 mm drop front only - $120
3. Eibach springs - 25-30 mm drop all around. $300

Do you have a part number for the Koni FSD, for the C4S? I can't find one.

Not sure about part numbers, but tirerack carries them might want to give them a call. They seel the whole kits (shocks plust eibach springs) or you can get the eiback springs seperatedly. Same springs.

Just in case, you cannot run fsd's with MO30 springs. Wrong spring rate.

I had the KW-V1 coil-overs on my C4S and dropped it .5 inch. Loved the aggressive look and cornering experience but had to compromise ride comfort around the city. Learned a lesson the hard way so I'm keeping my stock suspension on my new 997S. Thanks for the Sports Chrono package which allows me to switch back and forth bet normal & sports mode with a push of a button.

Good choice, I'm leaning that way as well.

If you decide to go Koni, Paragon Products is having their annual 20% off Koni sale right now.

The H&R with bilsteins is a great setup, the koni setup is slightly softer.
