Great reading. Might a simple upgrade to X50/GT2 cooling do the trick? Hope you keep updating this as it is more than a little interesting. I could see doing this someday or ruining my wife's perfectly nice Boxster S!

I'm switching from an electric pump to a stock LS1 pump. It will make the cooling system much more simple, more reliable, and should fix all my cooling issues.

Could really use your experience on this issue. Did not the Renegade Hybrid's way of cooling work? I'm still at a stand still with my build due to time/funds issue, but was planning on Buying/copying Renegades cooling system. Looking forward to your fix/solutions on this. Don't know if I've thanked you yet for all your info so far, really been helpful.

With my past knowledge of a lot of other motors, not any LS's yet. I still think you MUST have the thermostat mounted on the eng somewhere on the outlet for the coolant. If you use the electric pump to pressurize the eng block so as soon as the thermostat opens, coolant starts to flow to the radiators. Have you talked to Renegade about your cooling problems?
