I am looking at Sports Exhaust Tips (Porsche Option X54) off of an 03 I am just wondering if these will fit. I am 90% sure they will because the sport exhaust is the same for all of the years but I wanted to be sure.

 

They modified the rear bumper and standard exhaust tips with the MY02 facelift, so I don't know if they will fit. In the Tequipment catalog, it says that the new style four-tube sports tailpipes are for models from 8/02, while the older style single tube pipes are for models up to 7/01 (which I suspect is a typo and should say 7/02).

Although the latest PSE version fits all 996 years, the exhaust tips are connected to the mufflers by a pipe that might have changed starting in '02. Your dealer parts department can look it up in their system.

Tips from 99-01 will not fit 02-04 996s, they have different angles which they mount to the mufflers, the bumpers have different exhaust outlets as well, below I will post a pic of the stainless tips I had on my 2000 which were for 99-01 and you can see the angle that those mount on.
