Actually getting into my lowered BMW seems harder. Is it just me or does the 996 seats seem to sit a bit high? I would prefer if the seats were 1-2" lower.

5'9", 180 lbs. Hard with my Sparco Racing Seats. Getting in is easy, but getting out is sometimes fun.

I'm in the 6's too, I'm beginning to kinda roll out of my 996.

I grew up with Great Danes (2 at a time), I miss them. I'm not sure I can go back to the slobber and the smell though.

Also, a friend of mine drives a 996 turbo cabriolet, and he's 6'10"!

Easy at 6'2" 205lbs. I actually do not have the seat all the way back either. Bad back too. With the kids in the back, I'm squished though. Same with my BMW 330CI vert.

I just took my 85 year old Aunt out on the weekend for breakfast in the 996tt. She definitely had problems getting in and out due to how low the car sits. But she did enjoy the drive!

6'5" and no issue. It is not like getting in and out of a truck, but not bad at all.

6'1" and it can be interesting on a slope. Just kind of chase myself down out of the car.

It is far easier than getting out of the 944, however.

We only have one Dane, and she's not even a year old yet. Her name is Targa. I suspect we'll have another soon...
