Seat question,tell me what you think.
The seat bolsters on my 99 are ripped/cracked. I have a tan interior but my car is black. I was thinking about getting black suede put in. How do you think that will look?

Can always redye them. And fix the cracks with crack filler. Pretty easy to do with the seats out. And cheap. Check leatherique website.

Alcantara would be ok. Can get it at gulf fabrics. Do a google search. Not cheap. Any other suede like material no good over time.

The drivers side is ripped so they can't be fixed.

Can always get a used seat for $300 or so... Cheaper than the alcantara option.

I'm sorry, but I'm not a fan of suede for seats. I would get a quote on replacing the leather.

I have a very nice set of black leather seats from my '02 996. I upgraded to GT3 seats! PM me if you're interested.

I had a leather shop replace my bolsters with leather. It looks much better.
