Hi All - I bought the ultimate factories DVD from amazon with the Porsche but it is for the 991.

I heard there was a similar documentary on how the 996 was built but can't find it anywhere on youtube or amazon.

Anyone have a link, torrent, DVD that I can buy or download from?

That is the DVD that I do have. I am looking for the one that showcases the 996. It was a few years before this video....

 

I remember YEARS ago a documentary that came out that was narrated by Jay Leno. Back when the Boxter was brand new. He did a doco that went to the factory to see the Boxter being made. I think the second half of the program went to the Lingefelder Corvette garage. But I don't remember ever seeing a 996 documentary, and I was a college-going car geek at that time and looked for everything I could find.

 

Would be cool to see, love the 996s myself.
