I bought a new faceplate on eBay. Does any one know of a good 'how 2' on the faceplate? I'm going to check Renn. But if someone knows of a good post here, pls let me know.

You can contact Becker direct. They told me there was something I had to do if I deleted my CD changer and added the AUX iPod cable for the head unit to recognize the iPod/iPhone. I ended up going a different route so I never got the instructions.

There is a procedure that you have to go through to activate the aux input so that it will recognize the iPhone. I don't recall the procedure, but you should be able to find it by searching.

What are you trying to do to the faceplate that requires a DIY?

Here are the instructions: Turn on the stereo. Press the "TP" button for about ten seconds. Use right **** to navigate menus. Find the "AUX" on/off, turn on. Turn stereo off then back on. Hit "S" source button until aux is displayed. Hook up your mp3 player. You will start fresh with the bass, treble, balance, and fader.
