LOL, Yea I know, stupidest correlation I heard in a long time ... I think he must work for Skip Barber auto school, trying to get customers ...

Anyway, I am going to get the car scanned next week ... see what comes up .. I am also going to put the stock air box back in ... I don't know, for some reason I feel it might be the EVO intake ... I read a lot of posts about the intake doing weird stuff like this ... some people have no issues with it, while some do ... but I will keep in touch and let you know whats up ..

Weird with the abs and psm lights...

I got them today as I was backing up my car into my parking spot at like 1k rpm...

I've had them before too (psm and abs failure ), but they generally clear with a restart

Ok guys I have to give you guys the conclusion to the problem I was having ...

Brought my car to Mtech (my mechanic) for the scan and to see what the ABS/PMS lights popping up are about .... at first he was saying it might be the EVO intake ... so I brought my stock intake to him to see if he puts in on again, that it will fix the problem ...
So he calls me up and tells me that he found this device called the "Turbinator" in my EVO intake ... some add on thing that you put on all cars to help save gas ... He took it out and BAM! No lights, nothing .... Car is running perfect!

So then Iam trying to figure out how the hell this thing got in my intake???? ... Well, a few months ago I was remodeling my master bathroom and I was storing all the tile and stuff in my garage and I was keeping my car over at my father's garage for the time being ... Well, my old man decides to buy these things and put them in all his cars .. INCLUDING MY 911! LOL, I mean he had all good intentions but DAMN, can't you tell me when you get bored and do things like this LOL...

I went to his house after picking up my car ... I told him the story about this thing being in my intake and he says, "Don't be mad .. I put that in there, I wanted you to save on gas ... I had no idea you were having problems .... My BMW's are running fine with them"

LOL!! what can I say?? ... He is my Dad ... but I did tell him, next time don't touch my car without telling me

So there was my problem all along .... the f*ckin "Turbinator" LOL!

You know you put that in. Quit trying to make up stories. You better check for magnets attached to your fuel lines too and take those off if you find any. Lol.

Mine will set off the cel when I have the straight pipes on with my KN air filter sometimes. It was the o2 sensor triggering it. I just reset it with my reader.

Do you go to MTech over in NEw Rochelle, NY? If so - that's where I go after having some issues with another "garage" in Stamford. Mike is the BEST and never tries to sell or do work not needed. He did suggest Fister Mufflers when I ASKED and they have been awesome. Hope it's the same guy.
For anyone in the NYC/CT area - if your mechanic sucks or dealer has his hand in your wallet go see Mike at MTech. Not related or have any business interest - just passing along solid info to fellow Porsche owners.
