How is this accomplished - want to remove for painting. Thx for replies.

there are tons of threads on it, use the search function and you'll find it, its realtively easy when you know where all the screws are

It's really not difficult at all. Take your time and follow the write up. It took me about an hour to take the console out. I also found 4 bucks in there!
