I new to this forum and thanks for the welcome.

I have a project where my 996 3.4L Auto was converted into a 3.6Turbo / Tiptronic.

The engine is managed by a Motec M800 after market ECU. The engine came from a race car, it runs well and is rated at 650HP.

My problems is that we are struggling to get the auto turbo gearbox to work?

The auto gearbox has been converted to a 2 wheel drive.

Has anyone done a similar project to this before or know of someone who has?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Wow would love the hear more about the swap!

You'll have a lot of trouble getting the tip trans to work - it uses CANbus to talk to the stock ecu (not motec). To get it to work you'd have to emulate all canbus messages that the transmission controller is looking for, which is a ton of work (you'd have to log all the tcu traffic at first to even find out what they are).

You're far better off converting the car to manual.
