My manual shifter would slide over to the reverse side with a little presurre some times. So for example when I shift to second gear if I apply enough pressure the gear would go all the way to the left where the reverse side would be and i can get it to second even when i am all the way to the left. If I reset to nuntrual then it goes back to normal. What do you guys think?

 

The correct resting point is between 3 and 4, when you go to 1st or 2nd there should be a little pressure, this keeps you from inadvertently shifting to reverse. It's kinda like a little wall if you will.
