Thanks for all the kind words, everyone! @Crabman...got pulled over right when I crossed from New Mexico into Utah, near the Glen Canyon Dam. Didn't get a ticket, though.

Looks like an awesome trip! We did a mini-trip when I picked up my 2002 C4 in San Diego, and immediately drove it to Colorado. 1,100 miles in a couple of days, driving through the desert and Las Vegas in late June with 100+ degree days, we kept cool and comfortable, the engine temp never went above 185. We found that the stops for gas were frequent enough that we didn't feel beat up at the end of the day. The car ran like a champ, no problems at all. We're headed up to the mountains here in Colorado tomorrow to see if there's any fall colors left.

Awesome road trip, thanks for sharing! Great job stoping to take a photo in every city, you forgot to stop by at SM Pier when you were coming from Venice :-)

Awesome trip & pictures. I would like to see before & after shots of your front bumper cover! My longest Porsche trip is SoCA coast to Monroe Louisiana & back in 5 days. Pulled over 3 times, 1 ticket in Calhoun County Tx close to George Bush's spread.
