996 Cold Start
My 2000 911 (996) Carrera (80K miles) is a "Garage Queen" and is only driven an average of once per week. When it is first started after sitting for a while there is a period of 1 or 2 seconds of engine "clatter" until the oil pressure builds at which time everything smooth's out. Subsequent starts are smooth from the start. During cold starts my foot is no where near the accelerator.
Is the engine "clatter" during a cold start normal or is that a symptom of a problem?
Thanks,
GP

Drive your car more. If you don't, someone else will!
