This and a few others out there is an invaluable tool to help you drive better around the track. Quite a few of them have lap timers, telemetry/gps data logging, g force meter, and video.

It's really cool to get the same type of data that professional race teams get and overlay it side by side with the video footage to see where you can improve.

The only thing I had over 10 years ago was a clunky tape based camera with no other kind of info except my eyes to analyze the footage and ears to pickup throttle noises.

It would be cool someday if the avg joe can monitor brake temps and tire temps across the whole tire on all 4 corners. That would be a couple more data points on both your driving and car interaction too.
