Does anyone know how to/how difficult it is to replace the mohair roof on a 1999 C4, My rear screen has split and I can get a hood with glass window for a good price but was wondering if it is a DIY job.

Changing the Cabriolet convertible top is doable but very tedious and it takes time. For my money, it's better left to a professional to have it properly installed and adjusted. It will make for a much better experience and increase the longevity of the new top. Of course, if your top is in good condition, you can simply have a new rear window installed.

 

I have to concur with what he ^ said. I've tried replacing top myself on othe cars and the outcome was dismal at best.
Couple of things to consider is how much is fit and form worth to you, and how much is a professional look and warrenty worth?
