eBay LED taillights

Posted this on Rennlist, but wanted to show over here as well. Just pick up my 996 this week. I'll post some pics of the full car after I take care of a few maintenance items and upgrades.

Good to know! My biggest concern was the long term quality at this price. Adds a much more modern look to the car, especially since I had the amber turn signals.

Exactly! I have the black LED headlights lights as well. Will pull them off the Boxster and install on the 996 shortly.

In regards to the other post, just look for the headlight on eBay. $900ish seems to be the going rate. I contacted the vendor directly and saved about 10%.

you may...but all you have to do is install a 15 buck led flasher. installs under the dash and you're set

I got them on eBay for around $900. You will need to get the LED flasher for sure. I also installed 2 sets of HID's which were about $40 per set. The headlights are for 99-01 models. Not sure what year your car is.

I would recommend these (the Depo) as well for 2 reasons:

1) they are plug and play. The first set I got off ebay you had to plug your light sockets into their housings which is a bit more of a hassle.

2) the Depo unit is much closer in design to the newer LED taillights.
