Wheel offset gurus, NB help

Hi everyone,

I have a 1999 C2 996...

I found some rims with the following setup:

19x8.5 ET 40 front
19x10 ET 62 rear

I used the calculator on 1010tires.com and it looks like it should be ok, but I wanted to be sure before I invest my money into these wheels.

Can anyone help/confirm?

Thanks in advance...

Look on the rim, it will be stamped on one of the spokes I believe. It will look lik this: 8Jx18HZ ET57 the first number is the rim width in inches, the J is the rim flange contour color letter, the x is the symbol for drop center rim, the 18 is rim diameter in inches, the HZ is double hump, and the ET57 is the offset in MM.

At the offset listed, you shouldn't have any problems. Post some pictures of the wheels, I'm sure someone will chime in and positively verify it for you.

yea that will work. Doesn't leave to much space full lock in front without touching the wheel well and the tires have a lot to do with it.

I agree with NineEreven. The rears will fit fine with the ET but the fronts may rub the wheel well depending on tire size.

I was seeing the same thing, as far of fitment on the front, from the calculator on 1010tires as well but all your inputs confirmed. Thanks!

The wheels I was interested were some 19in 3pc Cargraphics listed on SF Craigslist. Have a look, maybe someone else wants them...
