Smile Switching oil brands and types winter to summer

Any problem with using Joe Gibbs DT40 oil in the summer and Mobil 1 0-40 in the winter? I live in Idaho and drive my 01 C4 year round. It gets to -20 below 0 with long periods of -5 to +15 daily temps. I am concerned that the 5-40 is too thick. I have a 05 3.6L X51 replacement motor after my 3.4L blew up so I can not use the LN IMS up grade. Thoughts?

Shouldn't be a problem, DT40 is excellent oil for the Porsche.
