I ordered Spyder Red/Clear LED tail lights almost 2 months ago from CARiD and have been told that they are on back order. Does anyone have any insight on this particular product or perhaps a replacement LED tail light that looks as good as the Spyder product (which is $394.40 from CARiD). Thanks

 

I got the Depot lights for my 99 C2, they were under $560.00 it took a month to get here from Bugaria. I don' know if your car is a wide body if so they wont fit.

The regular Spyder red/clear's are not even 300 on ebay.

 

Just cancelled my order from CARiD and ordered LED's from hdcautosports on eBay for $319 - delivery next week. Hope they're nice. Thanks for all your input!

 

Goto Amazon - CARiD is a scam, they just presell items, hope to get it from eBay or Amazon for a lower price, and then ship it to you. Here's the problem, they USED to be roughly $220 on Amazon with prime shipping, since then, the cost has gone up to $320+, which is why they are on "back order". I own and operate several online Ecommerce stores, they are a big competitor of ours.. We actually do the same thing time to time, however, we actually get the items to the customers!

You got a good price, but next time don't rule out Amazon, that prime shipping is awesome!

There is no comparison between the Depo lights and the Spyder lights. The Depos are like OEM quality and look like late 997 tails. The Spyders are not nearly the same quality and are similar to 996 tails.

Get which ever suits your taste and your budget, but they're not the same at all.
