I have an EVO XI SE as kind of my "sporty daily" and I love it. I rock a 328xi if I want something quite and more luxurious.

335i would be right down your alley.

Twin turbo I6 with 4 doors and a lot of m3 styling queues. The throttle is a bit lazy and you won't care for it at first but it has grew on me and causing the ride to be very smooth once you get used to it .

plus you can do a few little fun mods and they get quick, fast.

We'll....I guess there really is no substitute. I'm just in love with the 996. I haven't had the urge to trade for anything yet. I have some time though. All good suggestions from you all.

If you go with the 335i, make sure you research the HPFP issues.

My 996 is my daily, frequently used to haul kids 3/6/10. It is irreplaceable, any sedan is a compromise on driving experience.

Sorry to open this again, but I just saw an awesome Maserati Quattroporte. That car looks amazing for my purposes. Anything I should know about? I'm not sure why I have not been looking at those. Sounded really sexy driving next to me.
