which dealer has the best price on oil service in socal?

my C4S will need a minor service (15k miles). i have a quote for $575. i would like to do it at the dealer since the original warranty is runnning out in 5 months.

any other suggestions for dealers in socal that are reasonable with their pricing?

thanks.

If you spend $100 in basic tool, ramps, drain pan, 8 qt of M1, OEM Filter, you'll finish it in 1 hr.

For 15k service, $575 is pretty normal.

doing your own oil changes is way better than taking it to the dealer....faster and done exactly how you want.

agree with you 100%. but the original 4 year warranty is up in 3/06. would like for them to look at the car carefully to make sure what needs to be replced under warranty will be done.

Yeah, in that case, get the 15k service from dealer. Go to the one w best reputation of doing a thorough job, even if it's a $100 more. If you go to a cut rate dealer (if there is such thing in LA area in pricing), you will get a minimal inspection.

bavarian is infamous around these parts
I just had the 15K service done in New Jersey and paid 660.00 with tax etc. No bargain, but worth it for peace of mind IMO. If it was a Ferrari you could add another zero.....
