New to 6speed!
well finally got on to the site! Been trying to get on here for the last 3 weeks. There seem alot really cool people around from what I have been reading! Well I picked up a 1999 996 Carerra from a friend of mine a few weeks back. The car is built pretty well. The Racers Group in cali built the car a few years ago and my friend just wanted something 'more" exotic. (that is why he is getting a ferarri now ) . The car has a full carbon fiber RSR kit installed. H&R coil overs, sway bars,new bushings 19" fikse wheels (toyo T1R tires) , motor has some basic work done, cold air intake, headers, mufflers, Unichip comuter, short shift (i just installed new clutch and RMS). updated Lithtronic headlamps, euro tails
The car has 34k miles now and I am loving it. my plans: Tequpiment roll bar, new seats,Harness, Carbon KEVLAR interior, new steering wheel, update dash and headliner with suede and leather, full audio system, smaller wing to use outside of track days. enough I guess you could say. I should have the car at SEMA next month if all goes well.

Thank you very much everyone! I just installed my new CD player (eclipse), new steering wheel (Momo champion), and new gauge faces. my friend owns Meister gauge faces did a custom set for me. Center yellow with the outside in alum. color.
