Hi Folks, 1999 911 C2 Cab. I've had it 1 year, 89K mi. 5K last year, done all work (and lot's of it) myself. This sound issue was low on the priority list and I'm distinctly not an audiophile, '60-80's rock, news and weather that's about it. However, I do have a number of CD's, CCR, Stones, ZZ Top etc. The problem is the CDC-3 changer won't let me remove the disc magazine. Push the eject button and nothing, no noise, no nothing. I think it's something simple (hopefully). The radio is a CR 220 and seems to work fine. Any info would be great! One additional issue, the dash has a 4 cassette storage area (just below the radio) and I very much would like to change to a disc storage area or better yet just an open storage space. What part numbers are needed and also are there any removal and/or assembly instructions? Thanks in advance for your help! Larry

 

Larry - the cassette tray just pulls out. Pop the trays and give them a tug and the whole thing should pop out. For a storage compartment, take a look here: http://www.porschepartshub.com/auto-...t-console-scat Note that the upper and lower compartment are different and I believe you need the upper one.
