Quick Battery Tip

Okay, here is a quick tip on preserving the battery, don't leave the key in the ignition in the on position even with a charger. It'll drain the battery flat dead. I read this in Popular Mechanics from an old issue.

Ahhh, the beer didn't have anything to do with it....just saying

So the ignition and dash lights drain the battery quicker than the mains can charge it? That's some draw. I know I've been caught out with the car not starting after leaving the doors open for too long.

I bought several of these, seems to be working great on truck camper with twin batteries in parallel, several ATV quads, and the Pcar.

great fully coated clamps (very nice), and it comes with a cig lighter plug and/or battery post mounts. for under $20.

injected high frequency AC, which helps alleviate sulfating of the plates.

sweet unit. I have 4.

And Seattle Microbrew kicks **** over PBR or MGD beer any day of the week.

I to enjoy those, and some IPS's. However, the kids raid the house when we're at work,

Oh no. You can hook a charger to the jump point in the drivers well. Remove the cover attaché the positive and the attaché the negative to the door latch.

Yes, I did just that and got it open. Have since removed the battery and charged it back to life. Hopefully no permanent damage to battery. I knew the car drains the battery but didn't realize just how fast. This was a relatively new battery too, maybe a year old.
