Here is a photo of the mirrors that I hope to be installing within the next few days. I plan on plasti dipping them lime green and getting the carbon fiber inserts. I also removed the bronze plasti dip from the wheels. I like the original silver finish better.

The diffuser looks nice. Love how everyone chooses to add the "Porsche premium". It's almost enough to make you want to get a Honda. I said almost.
Lime green with inserts eh? Pics please, of course.
How did the plastidip hold up on the wheels by the way?

Lol, it's robbery what they charge. It's all cause of the badge on the hood. Yeah, think of the 997 GT3's. They did the wheel color on the mirrors. Not that my wheels are lime green but, I would also do the mouth of the bumper like the 997.2 GT3's. If you have any cool ideas please throw them out there. Nothing is set in stone just yet.

The plasti dip held up awesome on the wheels. Nothing peeled or anything. I just no longer wanted it on the car.

Thumbs up

The rear diffuser looks really good!
Where did you get mirrors, I want to get those 997 style for my 2003, I was planning on getting mirrors painted color to match with the carbon fiber inserts.
Are you going to take it to a dyno, my guess it is looking so good with the diffuser and mirrors it should be a least a gain of 5 RWHP !!!

NYoutftr lol a minimum of 5 RWHP lmao!! I got the mirrors from Extreme Motorcars. I will be doing a full install write up shortly, along with pictures. If you really want to order them I highly suggest going through Jeff at Extreme Motorcars. If he makes a part I am looking for I won't buy it from anyone other than him. You will appreciate the business man he is (per our conversation before). He is a stand up guy and has really taken care of me. Ask him if he can paint them as well and work that into the price. If you really are interested let me know and I'll get you his contact info.

I have his mirrors saved on my eBay wish list, that was the plan to buy from him.
They also have some interesting rear bumper covers, similar to GT3 for NB 996.

I don't like the bumper pads on 996 rear, they look like NYC taxi

I wasn't sure if you purchased from "V"

Trust me, order from Extreme Motorcars. Tell Jeff that Pasquale sent you. He will take care of you! Yeah, I've contemplated the GT3 rear for mine as well. I just love the back end of the C4S so much that I can't bring myself to change it.

Hahaha god no, no more "V" for me! That sounds totally what it is not hahahahaha

I keep hearing from people complaining about vivid. I think they need to step up their game. I was highly disappointed. But, I will say the rear diffuser looks AWESOME and the quality is top notch. Here are some photos of the brackets I made to complete the install.

looks like we were not the only ones
BTW, do you have any ground clearance with that diffuser?
Do you have a skid plate under motor?
Nice job on the brackets!

NY, they seem to be coming out the wood work. I'm glad that I've been able to shed light on the subject though. This way other Pcar members on here will be aware.

Yeah, I have plenty of clearance. I've never bottomed out.

MK, yeah there is plenty of clearance. It does look in the photos like there isn't but there really is. I'm sure some steep driveways I'd have to stay away from but, for everyday normal driving I got plenty of clearance.

overall, how long did it take for you to install the diffuser? i know you had to make brackets but after that, what do you think time wise?
