Well, from the back end the changes are extremely minor when compared with the current version. I see how the clear turn-signals are more 'styled' in to the existing light housing. The engine lid seems like is has fewer, but larger vent slats. It looks like a USA version since the license plate is smaller and the euro plate is mounted above the opening.

It certainly doesn't look like a wide-body from the angles we're shown which dispells some of the rumors that all 911 would be getting the wide-body shape. Also the rear end looks very simular to the current with no extra bulges which would probably also eliminate the V8 rumors.

All the good stuff is either hidden or destroyed unfortunately.

So what's left? Probably a 'new' nose, nicer interior (hopefully) and perhaps the powerkit as standard.

What do you guys think?

Hey Kevin

That wasn't the crash test at all. That was just a driver that could not handle the power, the 997 has a power boost !!!!

Third brake light also seems slimmer and longer.
The hood does not have the scoop like pre-996 cars
Convertible top mechanism seems unchanged
